About Château de Sanse:
Crafted from the ruins of a magnificent 18th Century Château and following a great deal of careful and sensitive restoration, our sister hotel now stands as a striking landmark against a backdrop of spectacular vineyards and rolling hillsides in the South-West of France.

With its own restaurant, bar and heated swimming pool, Château de Sanse is the ideal base to explore this idyllic region.

Accommodation:
Luxury and sophistication are combined in all 16 rooms of this charming hotel, some of which have their own terrace or balcony.

Every room is equipped with satellite TV, private telephone, safe, en-suite bathroom or shower room.  4 standard rooms, 8 character rooms (featuring balcony or terrace) and 4 suites make for an intimate and relaxing stay with a personalised touch.

Literally a stones throw away from the Château is our Gite, overlooking the same stunning landscape. This spacious two bedroom self catering bungalow with fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and expansive garden makes this an ideal family getaway. Of course if you want a night off cooking duty you can join us for an exquisite meal or drink at the bar with full use of hotel facilities.

Restaurant & bar:
Modern, seasonal French cuisine and fresh sea-food are accompanied by a selection of international wines.  In the air-conditioned restaurant, or on the outside terrace, you will be able to unwind and enjoy the panoramic views.

Enjoy an extensive choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in our bar or perhaps a cocktail on the terrace whilst watching the sun sink behind the hills.

Corporate facilities:
Situated only an hour from Bordeaux, Château de Sanse is ideal for organising seminars, hosting events and parties or holding private meetings.

Two seminar rooms are available. The "Summer Room" can accommodate up to 15 people and the "Manor Room" up to 45 people.

Weddings & special occasions:
We are a fully licensed venue for your wedding ceremony, and can cater for 10 to 60 guests with every detail tailored to your wishes. Château de Sanse offers a romantic and relaxing retreat for this special day.

Private parties can be catered for throughout the year. The whole hotel can be hired exclusively for you and your guests for added privacy making your event extra special.

The Region:
Situated in the South-West of France close to the world renowned vineyards of Saint Emilion and Pomerol, settled amongst the rolling valleys of the Dordogne, Château de Sanse is the perfect base for you to discover this culturally rich and fascinating region.

Whilst the area is primarily famed for the deep, full bodied red wines produced here, its reputation has also been built from its captivating history, its wonderful food, the diversity of its landscapes and the warm, welcoming nature of its population steeped in culture and tradition.
